We have had a continual presence on the Garrison and the circa 15 other Army and RAF bases which come under the auspices of this major Ministry of Defence centre since the 1950s.

Accordingly we are very experienced in the types of painting works required, the security implications of working in such sensitive areas and the challenges associated with working in such active locations.

The geographical spread of these bases, whilst concentrated in North Yorkshire, spread from Weeton near Blackpool in the west to Kirton Lindsey near Lincoln in the east. Works are managed from both our Darlington, County Durham Office and the Company Headquarters in Lincolnshire.

We redecorate all types of buildings including barracks blocks, mess rooms, kitchens, workshops, stores, hangars, offices and ablution blocks. Annual turnover over the last 5 years has been in the order of £700,000 per year, but flexibility is required as peaks and troughs are inevitable given the nature of the works and the ever changing military priorities.

The Principal Contractor is now the Carillion/Amey Joint Venture. At times we work directly for this body and at times we work for other contractors who are themselves working for the Principal Contractor. We therefore have been able to establish good working relationships with several building contractors during the course of this Regional Prime Contract.
