Warrior is a unique survivor of the once formidable Victorian Black Battlefleet and now serves as a museum ship, visitor attraction and more. Warrior cost almost £400,000 to construct and provided employment for a 2,000 strong workforce.

In June 2021 Jack Tighe Ltd was again awarded this contract to prep and recoat the Hull, Boot Topping, White line, Brow Sponsons and Jetty Fenders. The work was carried out for the National Museum of the Royal Navy. JTL had previously been awarded this unique contract in July 2018.
A floating pontoon was hired and erected and was floated to the side of the ship. We were also supplied with a safety boat with a fully trained operative to move the pontoon when required and ferry the men to dockside from the pontoon safely.
CAN provided an industrial rope access team complete with all necessary equipment required to undertake the redecoration of the starboard bow of HMS Warrior.
